Orders & shipping

How does Spice Tokyo make my order?

Every item is made to order just for you. When you check out, your design is printed on demand by one of our print partners and shipped straight to you from the US. Printing on demand means less waste and no piles of unsold stock.

How long will my order take?

First your item is printed, which usually takes a few business days (our print partners allow up to 10 business days during busy seasons). Then it ships, and US delivery takes about 2–7 business days. You'll get an email with tracking as soon as your order ships.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free on US orders of $35 or more. Orders under $35 ship for a flat $5.99.

Do you ship to APO, FPO and DPO addresses?

Yes! Orders ship from the US, and military and diplomatic orders ship through USPS at the same rates as the rest of the US, including free shipping on orders of $35 or more. Delivery to APO/FPO/DPO addresses can take 15–30 business days after your item is printed, and tracking often stops updating once the package reaches the military mail hub, even though it's still on its way. At checkout, please enter your address like this:

Can I track my order?

Yes. When your order ships we email you a tracking number and link. If it hasn't arrived or the tracking hasn't updated in a while, contact us and we'll look into it.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because each item is printed just for you, we can only change or cancel an order before it goes into production. Please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best.

Returns & problems

Can I return or exchange an item?

Since every piece is made to order, we can't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or the wrong size. Please check our size guide before you order.

What if my item arrives misprinted or damaged?

We'll make it right. Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo of the problem, and we'll send you a free replacement or a refund.

Sizing & care

How do your shirts fit?

Our classic tees are unisex Bella+Canvas 3001s with a modern retail fit, so order your usual unisex size or go one size up for a relaxed look. Sweatshirts and hoodies (Gildan 18000/18500) have a classic unisex fit. Exact measurements for every garment are in our size guide.

How should I wash my shirt?

To keep the print looking fresh, turn it inside out and machine wash cold (max 30°C / 90°F). Use non-chlorine bleach only if needed. Tumble dry on low heat. Iron on medium heat, but not directly on the print. Don't dry clean. Performance tees and long sleeves (100% polyester) should be washed cold and hung to dry: no bleach, tumble drying or ironing.

How do I care for sweatshirts and hoodies?

Machine wash cold (max 30°C / 90°F) and use non-chlorine bleach only if needed. Tumble dry on low (crewnecks) or medium (hoodies). Don't dry clean. Don't iron crewnecks; hoodies can be ironed on low heat, but not over the print.

How do I care for kids' and baby tees?

Baby tees: machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Kids' and youth tees: machine wash warm (max 40°C / 105°F). Tumble dry on low (youth tees) or medium (kids' heavy cotton tees). Use non-chlorine bleach only if needed, iron on low to medium heat away from the print, and don't dry clean.

What about totes and mugs?

Spot clean tote bags and line dry them. Don't bleach them, and never iron directly over the print. Our ceramic mugs are dishwasher safe, or you can wash them by hand with warm water and dish soap.
